Director of Programmes

Our mission is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the UK education workforce. We already reach over 15,000 people each year, and help over 1,000 education workplaces to support staff. We have become a credible source of data and evidence about the health of the workforce, and we are beginning to make an impact with policymakers, moving mental health closer to the centre of education policy-making.

About the role

Reports to: CEO
Hours: Full-time, though part-time/flexible working considered
Salary range: £55,000 - £65,000 FTE
Location: London, or home-based, with some travel across the UK

Our future focus centres on partnering with education institutions to identify inventive, meaningful ways of reaching and supporting education professionals so that they are well equipped to flourish professionally and to support students. This ambition to innovate, and develop new forms of support, will underpin the next phase of the charity’s development.

We now seek a Director of Programmes to drive forward this programme of innovative programming. This critical role will lead on the development, delivery and quality assurance of clinically underpinned programmes and services for schools, colleges and universities across the UK.

The ideal candidate will combine a clinical background in mental health and/or wellbeing with experience developing and managing related programmes and services. The Director must be a creative self-starter, able to shape and quality assure new initiatives, allowing us to grow our reach and impact.
