Thank you so much to everyone who supported our Christmas Appeal. Together, you helped raise over £25,000 to support teachers and education staff who are struggling with their mental health and wellbeing.
Your generosity is already making a difference. It means that when someone reaches out to our free 24/7 helpline, there is a trained counsellor on the other end of the phone — someone who understands the realities of education and listens without judgement. For many, that conversation is the moment things begin to feel manageable again.
While we didn’t quite reach our overall fundraising target, this funding is helping ensure that educators can continue to access vital support, advice and practical resources when they need them most. We’ll keep fundraising to make up the shortfall and to ensure our services remain free for everyone working in education.
Whether you donated, shared our messages, or took the time to reflect on the appeal, you were part of this. Because of you, educators know they’re not alone when the pressure becomes too much. Thank you for standing with those who support children and young people every day.
"I’ve never seen a teacher leave because of pay. They leave because of stress, because they don’t feel supported, or because the job feels too much."Sean, teacher
Education Support can be a lifeline for a teacher reaching breaking point. But they can only keep helping with your support.
Please, if you can, donate today and help make sure every teacher who’s struggling has the support they need.
