School leaders’ wellbeing service

We’re all human and experience challenges in life and work.

Are you a headteacher? Would you like access to services focused on improving your mental health and wellbeing?

Education Support can offer limited free spaces for headteachers to participate in the following services. (If you work in Wales visit our Welsh headteachers service).

Facilitated peer support

Our online service brings school leaders together to discuss challenges and issues in a safe and supportive space.

You will receive four 90 minute sessions, as a group of six other headteachers. Your sessions will be facilitated by a qualified faciliator.

"I could show vulnerabilities or frustrations without worrying it would affect morale in my team."

Accredited counsellors help you to reflect, and process any difficult feelings that result from work-life challenges. You will receive four one-to-one sessions by telephone.

"It is so important, as a headteacher, to be able to reflect and unpick any difficult emotions that arise."

Places on this service are now fully allocated. If you would like to be informed about similar services, please register your interest

Places on this pilot are offered without charge to headteachers and chief executives of multi academy trusts currently working in schools in England. Please only apply for one service. Registration will close as soon as programme places are fully allocated.
