Pearson Teaching Awards

Celebrate everyday excellence in your school or college

The 2020 Pearson National Teaching Awards are now open for entries!

These prestigious awards are the ‘Oscars’ of the teaching world, highlighting skill and dedication and shining a light on the whole profession.

Don’t miss the chance to be part of this celebration of teaching, which culminates in a glittering awards ceremony televised by the BBC as ’Britain's Classroom Heroes’. Just being nominated gives a teacher, their school or college and students a sense of their value being recognised.

Winning an award can have a huge impact, not just on the winner, but also on the wider community. You can read about how winning an award has made a difference to teachers as well as their schools and communities here.

How to enter

The awards are open to all state and independent schools and FE colleges in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and are free to enter. It’s easy to enter, and it makes such a difference - this is your chance to celebrate excellence in your school or college!
