Working in education is profoundly social. Relationships with pupils/students and colleagues are known to be especially important to educators. In the current situation, where contact is significantly limited this can produce feelings of isolation and can be very disorienting.

People are experiencing grief about the loss of our way of life that has occurred since lock-down began. Some are also experiencing grief due to the death of a loved one, and the inability to connect with family, friends and colleagues in the way that we normally would at such times.
