Back in July, we asked you – our loyal supporters – for urgent help as we tried to cope with the highest-ever demand for our financial grants. And you responded in heroic fashion.

So far, you have given donations totalling more than £51,000, providing an incredible boost to our grants fund.
In addition, many of the wonderful people who give us a regular gift have agreed to increase the value of their gift, providing us with an additional £20,000 every year.
This will mean that we can say ‘yes’ to even more education staff who come to us in desperate need of financial help during these difficult times.
These vital funds go to help people like Liz:
“This grant is a lifesaver for me. I lost my husband nine years ago and I have struggled ever since. Recently I was told that I have osteoarthritis of the hip and lower back, so I have also been in pain for over a year. Thank you so much for the grant - I can now get a carpet for my bungalow.”
