With pressures on staff being so high, leaders in schools and other education settings are looking for new ways not just to support their staff, but to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing. School staff need to know when to reach out for help, and to know that there is no shame in doing so – it is an important part of maintaining their wellbeing.

EAP Plus brings together the benefits of our outstanding Employee Assistance Programme, with a new package of support, advice and information - designed to help education staff support their own wellbeing, identify issues and access support before they reach crisis point.

It's been put together using our knowledge and expertise as the only charity that exclusively focuses on the mental health and wellbeing of teachers and education staff.

As well as all the benefits of the Education Support Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), such as 24/7 telephone support, high quality counselling and access to a range of support for issues including line management, and financial and legal issues, schools who sign up get:

  • A brand new and exclusive range of advice guides. These are tailored to the needs of teachers and school staff and leaders and designed to help them proactively manage their wellbeing at school.
  • Exclusive webinars designed to further support their knowledge of how to stay mentally healthy while working in education and exclusive access and discounted rates for Education Support programmes.

Our EAP provides exceptional support to education staff in their moment of need. The EAP Plus package supports schools, school leaders and individual staff to develop the skills and expertise to manage and support their mental health and model a culture of openness and honesty around mental health and wellbeing which is beneficial to all.

This preventative approach to mental health and wellbeing is unique among education EAP services and confirms us as the leading organisation to come to for help with supporting the mental health and wellbeing of education staff.
