Professional Supervision: Leaders and Line Managers
Thanks to funding from Welsh Government we are able to offer school leaders and line managers access to funded one to one professional supervision.
What is professional supervision?
Professional supervision provides reflection, learning and development organised around a professional identity. In the education sector, professional supervision offers leaders the opportunity to reflect on their core purpose in the education of children and young people.
You will work with qualified supervisors to focus on your mental wellbeing and help you develop new coping strategies to feel more fulfilled and in control.
You will receive six funded one-to-one sessions by Zoom or telephone, which are completely confidential.
Concepts I worked on with my facilitator really helped me to understand myself and my reactions and where they were coming from. This has been absolutely beneficial in my work.
A chance to offload and reflect, to discuss who you are, how you are and what’s going on for you at work. Bring any concerns you have about school culture, team dynamics, staff members, children or yourself, and share them with your supervisor.
Putting yourself first can be low down or even last on your priority list. By taking this opportunity it will help you to retain connection to the purpose of your work i.e. providing the best education to children and young people.
These sessions are funded thanks to support from Welsh Government. Places are limited so sign up now!
One session and already feel listened to - thank you.
