Pupils lose out without the presence of trusted TAs and LSAs. So this webinar focuses on ways you can prioritise and protect your mental health during these challenging times. Schools are better with you in them, and feeling well.
Teaching assistants (TAs) and learning support assistants (LSAs) are stars in our schools. They do so many things to support learning; setting up desks, wiping tears, building confidence, chatting and building relationships. This is all in addition to making learning happen.
It is safe to say that schools suffer without their TAs and LSAs.
But the current picture tells a different story. In recent months school support vacancies have nearly doubled - with many reporting that they are turning to different jobs and leaving school altogether. We know (from our recent Teacher Wellbeing Index) mental health and wellbeing can play a part in this.
Ultimately, the children lose out without the presence of trusted TAs and LSAs. So, we want to focus on ways you can prioritise and protect your mental health during these challenging times.
